The Home & Away exhibit at Andenken was totally red carpet. Westerpark always seems to have something cranking this time of year, and even though the carpeted exterior wasn’t necessarily installed for Home & Away, we made good use of it.
The event itself was organized by HVW8 Gallery (thanks, adidas) in LA to debut three of their upcoming artists, Lisa Leone, Alessandro Moroder and Hassan Rahim. The show is up for only 72 hours in two locations - classic 5150, here at Andenken and Galleria Patricia Armocida in Milan. Okay - that’s fast - and when I found out I wouldn’t see the work again I went back in for another look.
Lisa Leone’s photography captures history, Alessandro, below in a classic photo bomb, captures the subtly tortured and Hassan Rahim - well, he does something really interesting, he currently combines bondage and the apollo missions. Yes, that’s right, exploration of space and our sexual extremes.
In an effort to not be to verbose - let me just give you the pictures and ask that you go to see the show before it’s down - that’s soon as the 72 hour hold is up on Sunday.
